Roadmap for Nordic building sustainability
The intention with the seminar is to focus the development of buildingSMART solutions in the Nordic region and potentially intensify the cooperation of Nordic stakeholders. buildingSMART is represented by all four Nordic chapters. We know the status of technology and processes internationally and in the Nordic region. The stakeholders are represented by selected public and private clients, who knows the potential and need for change. Together we can discuss and draft a prioritized roadmap for development of technology, processes and implementation.

buildingSMART works internationally, Inter-nordic and locally for developing solutions for improved sustainability. Sustainability is a political loaded concept with many interpretations. buildingSMART has developed and continue to develop open format based framework for many concrete solutions to improve efficiency, quality of construction and operation of buildings. We see sustainability as the higher goal for implementing buildingSMART in the building industry.
Focus
Focused development of openBIM solutions can contribute to increased sustainability and more efficient environmental certification. The objectives of the workshop is to contribute to better coordination in the Nordic openBIM development, define prioritized requirements and potentially define common Nordic development.
